Biscuit and us

Okay, enough nesting in, we're starting to get a grip finally. Biscuit (aka Chloe, aka Little Monkey, aka MonkeyBiscuit) was in bed at 8pm tonight, and we're starting to regain a foothold on life here.
I think we had originally imagined new parenthood as somewhat akin to getting hit by broadside by several freight trains, but overall it's much nicer and sweeter than that. Biscuit has been very sweet, and after the trauma of dicovering the harsh realities of digestion, things are smooth again. We're finding her disposition is sweet, and we're really quite charmed. Emmett is adapting to having to share the cuddle time and being repeatedly told not to lick the child, even if she is crying. Cuddles still thinks ofall this as much ado about nothing.
And last week we had the lovely visit from Jen of San Diego. Aunt Jen covered the child with gifts, snuggles and all sorts of sweet things, and even sent the parents off for a night out to celebrate her 2-week birthday!
And somehow, it seems like she's always been around.
